Overview

Developed by the DRDO and produced by Tata and L&T, Pinaka fires a ripple of twelve rockets from a mobile launcher to saturate an area at ranges that guided variants now push toward 90 km and beyond. A battery can deliver overwhelming fires across a wide front in moments.

Guided and extended-range versions have entered service, and the system is among India's most successful artillery exports.
