The Arjun, developed by the DRDO, is a third-generation main battle tank with a 120 mm rifled gun, composite Kanchan armour, and advanced fire control. The Mk-1A variant adds dozens of upgrades including improved protection, a remote weapon station, and the ability to fire guided missiles through the barrel.
Built around firepower and crew survivability, it equips the Army's strike formations alongside the more numerous T-90 fleet.
