Artificial intelligence compresses the sensor-to-shooter cycle, fusing data faster than any staff could. The military advantage is real, but so is the temptation to remove the human who slows the loop.
The doctrinal challenge is to keep judgement where it matters — over the use of lethal force — while letting machines accelerate everything around it. That boundary, not the technology, will decide whether AI stabilises or destabilises.
